KTAL’s Mesilla Valley Sports Show featured Carol Witham, leader of a local exercise program for people living with Parkinson’s disease, who discussed the growing impact of the neurological disorder and the important role that exercise plays in managing its symptoms. Witham explained how research has shown that regular physical activity can improve balance, mobility, strength, and overall quality of life, while also slowing the progression of the disease.

Lori Robinson, Account Executive Neuroscience – Parkinson’s will discuss Vyalev a new drug for those diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.

AbbVie is currently conducting a research study to gain insights on the impact of medication burden and treatment-emergent side effects on patient’s lives.
This research study is inviting people with PD to participate in a 30-45 minute online survey with an interviewer. Participants will receive $70 as a thank-you for completing the survey.
