Upcoming Meetings:

July 21, 2026 – Monthly Support Group meeting, held at 9 a.m. -11:45 a.m. the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Holiday Inn Express Las Cruces North, 2142 Telshor Court, Las Cruces.  Guest Speaker:  Lori Robinson introducing Vyalev, a wearable pump that delivers a Levodopa-Based Therapy.

July 28, 2026  – Newly Diagnosed Support Group meeting. This is a small group meeting designed to answer questions about meds, doctors, symptoms etc. All members are invited to join, especially the long timers, as they have experience and wisdom to share. The meeting is held at 10 a.m. the 4th Tuesday of each month at Solstice Senior Living, 151 N. Roadrunner Parkway, Las Cruces.

• Tuesday, July 21, 2026 Monthly Meeting
  The  Monthly Meeting, Tuesday, July 21, 2026, will be held at the Holiday-Inn-Express  Conference Room 2142 Telshor Court Las Cruces, New Mexico 9:00am – 12:00pm. Lori Robinson, Account Executive Neuroscience  – Parkinson’s will discuss  Vyalev a new drug for those diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
• RockSteady Boxing Class cancelled on July 3
  RSB Class will be cancelled on Friday, July 3, 2026 due to Independance Day observance. We will make up the class on Wednesday July 1.
• Parkinson’s Exercise Class cancelled May 25 – Memorial Day
  Our Parkinson’s Exercise Class, led by Medical Exercise Specialist, Carol Witham, is cancelled on Monday, May 25th, 2026 due to Memorial Day observance. Classes willl resume on Wednesday May 27 at 10 a.m. as usual.
• Rocksteady Boxing class cancelled May 25 – Memorial Day
  RSB Class will be cancelled on Monday, May 25th, 2026 due to Memorial Day observance. We will make up the class on Wednesday May 27.  
• Parkinsons Research Study
  AbbVie is currently conducting a research study to gain insights on the impact of medication burden and treatment-emergent side effects on patient’s lives. This research study is inviting people with PD to participate in a 30-45 minute online survey with an interviewer.  Participants will receive $70 as a thank-you for completing the survey.
