Upcoming Meetings:

September 15, 2026 – Monthly Support Group meeting, held at 9 a.m. -11:45 a.m. the 3rd Tuesday of each month. We will meet at Las Cruces Senior Living Social Center, 3011 Buena Vida Circle, Las Cruces, New Mexico.  Guest Speaker:  Jo Bidwell.
Notes: 

1. 1. We will do the drawing for the quilts at the September meeting. 
   2. We will have a vote on the location of the monthly meeting. 
   3. There will be a person filming parts of he meeting for a documentary – let us know if you do not want to be filmed and we will arrange seating out of camera range. 

September 22, 2026  – Newly Diagnosed Support Group meeting. This is a small group meeting designed to answer questions about meds, doctors, symptoms etc. All members are invited to join, especially the long timers, as they have experience and wisdom to share. The meeting is held at 10 a.m. the 4th Tuesday of each month at Solstice Senior Living, 151 N. Roadrunner Parkway, Las Cruces.

• RockSteady Boxing Class cancelled on September 7
  RSB Class will be cancelled on Monday September 7, due to Labor Day activities. We will make up the class on Wednesday September 9 at 10 a.m.
• Labor day class cancellation
  Our Parkinson’s Exercise Class, New Pathways for Parkinsons, led by Medical Exercise Specialist, Carol Witham, is cancelled Monday September 7, due to Labor Day activities. Classes willl resume on Wednesday September 9 at 10 a.m. as usual.
• RockSteady Boxing Class – August 31
  Gerry will be out of town this weekend working  the fights in Albuquerque, so Marlene will be leading the class on Monday August 31. See you there!
• Pickleball at Pickle Planet
  Parkinson’s Pickleball  meets 12:30-2:30 on Thursdays at Meerscheidt. Also, some of our people have a membership at Pickle Planet and are scheduling additional  practice there on Tuesdays.
