RockSteady Boxing Class cancelled on September 18
RSB Class will be cancelled on Friday September 18, due to a Martial Arts tournament. There will be a full class on Wednesday September 16 at 11a.m. instead of open gym.
The El Paso Parkinson’s Support Group Speaker Series
The El Paso Parkinson’s Support Group is hosting its 2026 Guest Speaker Series. The upcoming sessions provide valuable education and community support for anyone interested in learning more about Parkinson’s disease.

Gerry will be out of town this weekend working the fights in Albuquerque, so Marlene will be leading the class on Monday August 31. See you there!
New location of our Monthly Meeting
Monthly Support Group meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month. Starting in August, we will meet at Las Cruces Senior Living Social Center conference room. 3011 Buena Vida Circle, Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Buena Vida Circle is just off Telshor Blvd, a bock north of Memorial Medical.
Social Time: 9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
Meeting /Guest Speaker: 9:45 a.m.– 11:45 a.m.
Come early – parking may be tight.
Tuesday, July 21, 2026 Monthly Meeting

Lori Robinson, Account Executive Neuroscience – Parkinson’s will discuss Vyalev a new drug for those diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.

Our Parkinson’s Exercise Class, led by Medical Exercise Specialist, Carol Witham, is cancelled on Monday, May 25th, 2026 due to Memorial Day observance. Classes willl resume on Wednesday May 27 at 10 a.m. as usual.

Parkinsons Research Study
AbbVie is currently conducting a research study to gain insights on the impact of medication burden and treatment-emergent side effects on patient’s lives.
This research study is inviting people with PD to participate in a 30-45 minute online survey with an interviewer. Participants will receive $70 as a thank-you for completing the survey.
