Empty Bowls fundraiser

The Empty Bowls fundraiser is Friday, October 17, 11:00 to 2:00 pm.  This program provides a beautiful handmade bowl and all you can eat soup from local restaurants for $25 which all goes to El Caldito the soup kitchen which benefits low income residents.  The event is held at the Methodist Church at 225 Griggs (Alameda and Griggs downtown).  Barb Williams has tickets for members of the Parkinson’s Disease group who are interested in attending.

Barb will reserve a table in the dining room at 12:15 for PD members so that we can be our usual raucous and enjoyable selves.  Let her know (575-639-6786 or clay_ink@yahoo.com) if you’d like a ticket.  If you are boxing, you can be at the church by 12:15 – in time to select your handmade bowl and soup.
