The December 26 Newly Diagnosed Support Group meeting is cancelled. Next meeting will be January 23.
Exercise Class Cancellations:
- Carol’s Exercise class at Genesis, The Village at Northrise – the Hallmark Building-Monday and Wednesday, 10 – 11 am (NO CLASSES DECEMBER 22 -JANUARY 2)
- Rock Steady Boxing – Monday and Friday Class Time Wednesday Open Gym all at 11 am. New location: Maximum Martial Arts, 1705 E. University Ave., Las Cruces (NO CLASS ON DECEMBER 25.)
- Pickleball at Meerscheidt Recreation Center almost every Thursday at 12:45. (NO CLASSES DECEMBER 14 – DECEMBER 31 AND INTO JANUARY. WE DON’T HAVE A RETURN TO CLASS DATE.) We may be meeting at Sunny Acres December 21.
Community Awards update
City Bank announced the 30 recipients of this year’s $60,000 Community Rewards program in the Lubbock region. The Southwest Parkinson Society was awarded $1,500 under Health and Wellness category. Thanks to everyone who voted!
Ukelele concert
The Las Cruces Ukes will play a holiday concert this Saturday, December 9, at 2:00 pm at the Village at Northrise, Hallmark Building, second level. We’re all invited.

Fall Barbecue Social
