Upcoming Meetings:

May 18, 2026 – Monthly Support Group meeting, held at 9 a.m. -11:45 a.m. the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Holiday Inn Express Las Cruces North, 2142 Telshor Court, Las Cruces.  Guest Speaker: tba.

May 25, 2026  – Newly Diagnosed Support Group meeting. This is a small group meeting designed to answer questions about meds, doctors, symptoms etc. All members are invited to join, especially the long timers, as they have experience and wisdom to share. The meeting is held at 10 a.m. the 4th Tuesday of each month at Solstice Senior Living, 151 N. Roadrunner Parkway, Las Cruces.

• Caregivers Stress-Busting class
  There is a new Stress-Busting class starting May 19. There are a few openings for that class. Sharon Lewis, Stress-Busting Program for Family Caregivers  830-377-1484
• PD Pickleball
  Parkinson’s Pickleball is happening when we can find a time/place.Meerscheidt is available beginning Thursday 4/23.  We will meet there next week at our regular 12:30-2:30 time. • Carol’s Class cancelled on April 8, 2026
  Carol’s class is cancelled for next Wednesday, the 8th of April, so we can attend the Funeral for Jim McCann.
• James Ian McCann funeral
  Sadly, James Ian McCann, has died. Many of you may remember him from Carol’s class. He was always in good humor, teasing us when we couldn’t follow directions, protecting Mason from our wild throws when playing ball. He will be missed. Funeral service: 555 W Amador Ave April 8, 2026 11:AM – 2 PM
