City Bank announced the 30 recipients of this year’s $60,000 Community Rewards program in the Lubbock region. The Southwest Parkinson Society was awarded $1,500 under Health and Wellness category. Thanks to everyone who voted!

Ukelele concert
The Las Cruces Ukes will play a holiday concert this Saturday, December 9, at 2:00 pm at the Village at Northrise, Hallmark Building, second level. We’re all invited.
Thanksgiving cancelations
Carol’s exercise class is cancelled November 22. Classes resume Monday November 27.
No pickleball on November 23. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Rock Steady Boxing is now being held at Maximum Martial Arts, 1705 E. University Ave. Las Cruces. Classes are every Monday and Friday at 11:00 a.m. with open gym on Wednesdays at 11. Contact Jon Roberts (702.217.0450) for more information and how to enroll.
Fall Barbecue Social
The Fall Barbecue Social was a great success, with lots of good food and fun.
Pickelball at Apodaca
Meerscheidt was closed to us today so we played at Apodaca Park. It was great to play outside, if a bit warm. We had the courts to ouselves. 🙂

No class October 2 & 4 as Carol will be out of town. Classes resume Monday October 9.
Pickelball Sept 28
Meerscheidt will be closed on Tursday September 28, so we will play at Apodaca park that day. Please dress for warm weather, bring water, sunglasses, and a hat or visor.
